Description: Sports Massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Sports massage has three basic forms: pre-event massage, post-event massage, and maintenance massage.
